The college N.C.C. unit seeks to inculcate discipline, patriotism, devotaion to duty, leadership qualities, etc. in college students. The N.C.C. cadets get opportunities to participate in national / state-level camps organized from time to time by N.C.C. The cadets get refreshment / washing allowances upto Rs. 300/. Cadets may apply for different scholarship. In various services vaccancies are reserved for the N.C.C. cadets. N.C.C. helps in overall personality development of cadets. To secure admission to N.C.C., students will have to submit separate applications. Maj. Dr.S.R.Aswale lead the Maharashtra Directorate Team as contingent commander for All India Thal Sena Camp 1999 New Delhi. He was awarded the “Certificate of Merit” by the Amravati Group NCC for training the Group Team. Six cadets attended TSC Delhi & eight cadets receives different scholarship. Lt R.S.Matte is looking after NCC since 2009 as Associate NCC officer.

The college N.S.S. unit of the college undertakes various social service oriented activities in rural and urban areas on holidays and during hours when routine academic activities are not performed mainly with a view to raise the students awareness of social responsibilities by exposing them to first-hand experiences of social service over here. Student’s participation in social service camp of any other camp orgnized every year in rural areas by the college compulsory espanolfarmacia.net. Students willing to participate in N.S.S. activities must register themselves with the teacher in charge of the department within scheduled time-limit.

[coursebox title1=”Sports & Recreation”]The college expects its students to excel in at least One game by making the best possible use of the adequate sports facilities provided in the institution.

Students must attend the practice sessions held for different games, competitions, etc. failing which they will be punished by the department concerned. Besides, students must attend the medical check-up programme arranged every year by the department. Any student failing to attend the said medical test will be fined.

As far as the department of recreation is concerned, it not only provides the talented students with opportunities but also gives special award, prizes, etc. to such students as excel in the said festivel.

[coursebox title1=”Y.C.M.O.U. Centre”]The study centre of Yashwantarao Chauhan Maharashtra Open University which started functioning the academic session 1994-95 onword, offers the following courses:

  • Preparatory Courses
  • Anyone attaining the age of sixteen ( even if he or she is without any prior exposure to education) is eligible for admission to this course of three months’ duration. On the successful completion of this academic programme, a student can seek admission to the first year.

  • B.A./B.Com. Courses
  • The following categories of students are eligible for admission to the B.A./B.Com. Courses of Y.C.M.O.U.

    • Students who have completed the preparatory course of Y.C.M.O.U.
    • Students who have passed the Matric Examination before 1976.
    • Students who have passed the 12th class examination.
    • Students who have completed any government recognized course of two years’ duration.
